bush jokes.

“The President and Mrs. Bush were on ‘Larry King’ last night and the president said, ‘America is absolutely better off today than it was 4 years ago.’ Then he said, ‘Did I say America? I meant Chevron.’” —Bill Maher

“Is it me or is Bush going everywhere Kerry goes? So far in the past week, President Bush has followed John Kerry to Davenport, Iowa; New Mexico; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; and he follows him to Portland, Oregon. The only place he never followed John Kerry was Vietnam.” —Jay Leno

“President Bush is going to establish elections there in Iraq. He’s going to rebuild the infrastructure. He’s going to create jobs. He said if it works there, he’ll try it here.” —David Letterman

and this next one is really long…. funny though.

breakdown...

I’m posting from my phone. I don’t know how, but there still seems to be service.

I predicted it, straight on. The zombies got through the hospital barricades, it was the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced. I left the meeting room with a group of people to go to the bathrooms, and that’s when it happened. We were on the way back and those goddamn things finally busted through the windows and doors. Glass was flying everywhere. I still don’t know how they did it. But their faces… bloody, absent, emotionless, it can’t even be explained. They’re not like the ones from the 60’s zombie flicks either, these are faster. I would say quite a bit slower than the 28 days later zombies, but either way, it’s horrible.

I panicked and ran for my life, I didn’t even look back. I heard human growling, the sound of hundreds of feet pounding on the tile, and screams. I just kept running through the hospital, trying to find a way out.

I broke through a back window and got outside. There weren’t any back there, so that’s where I stayed for a bit. The fear is so real, I just sat back there pacing and freaking myself out. Then luck was on my side, I found a group of people.

I still don’t know their names, but I’m with them now. Shortly after we grouped up, we hot-wired an abandoned military vehicle. That was a huge realization. There’s nobody to save us, we’re on our own.

We almost got killed moving through the city. The truck got mobbed at least 3 times, and these things are fucking crazy. They don’t give up. All I can say is, thank God for military weapons, or I wouldn’t be writing this. I just… I’m on the edge. I’m about to lose it. I don’t know if my family is alive, or anything. The only person I’ve had contact with is Hannah.

When we made it to the Elmendorf Air Force base, right outside of Anchorage, we found a couple of other groups here. We’ve been packing up huge trucks and vehicles since then, getting ready to start a caravan. The plan is to go into Canada, pick up survivors, and find some sort of permanent locked down area to call home.

It’s the only hope we’ve got.

comet?

I’ve heard rumors they’re blaming the zombies on a comet. I don’t really understand, but the basic information is here.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?

the arrival.

Things are getting really bad here, this is the worst time to be in a city. Even if it is Anchorage Alaska.

I can now confirm there are zombies, it’s true. Somehow, a few people inside the hospital caught this… “infection”. They’ve been cleaning up blood for an hour. Some of the zombies outside have begun to overpower the SWAT teams. Or whoever they are, I really don’t know. It’s a bloodbath. They’re also starting to crowd the hospital, due to screams and commotion. People don’t realize they just need to shut up, go lock themselves in a room, and hide. I give us five hours tops, and parts of the hospital will be breached. I really don’t want to be there when that happens.

Officials have already started sectioning off the vulnerable places and evacuating everyone to meeting rooms and recovery areas. I don’t know what I’ll do when these… zombies, get in here. I’m sure as fuck not cornering myself, but also I have family here, and my grandma is recovering from her surgery. She just had a new pacemaker put it though, so she’s able to move. And luckily, she’s extremely healthy, acts like a 40 year old. But I do have them to worry about as well.

Compressed; we don’t have much time. I need to come up with a plan.

If anyone has any more information, contact me in some way. I’ve started searching and found a couple of reports; things don’t look promising anywhere else either.

The world can’t end like this.

the city IS at war

10:27 am
Shit. This isn’t good, at all. I walked down from the hospital waiting room to check if I could see anything from the door. They have some sort of government force down there, so I can’t get out. From what I can see though, I don’t want to.

There’s smoke everywhere, gunshots, and above all, the screaming. It’s horrible. For now I think I’m just going to stay in here, it’s safe and there’s food. Some of the people here are getting aggravated though, they think it’s all bs. I don’t blame them either, but it’s going to be bad if they get out of control.

I don’t know what to think, or do. Is there actually a zombie uprising?

How long are we going to be able to just sit here?

what?

9:55 am
I got a glimpse of a TV before a nurse shoo’d me out of the hospital room… I don’t believe it.

The news crew used the term… living dead. This doesn’t make any sense. You know, you always wish for something cool like this to happen. Kill the zombies, whatever. It’s different feeling than you imagine.

I still don’t believe it.

... odd?

9:28 am
I’m here from my cell.

Something really weird is going on. The hospital has quarantined everyone inside, and they won’t tell us what’s going on.

I’ll post again when I have more information. I’m going to find a tv or computer.

lawl.

Well I could edit the last post, but I won’t. Instead I’ll make a new one!

I just realized that the hospital I’ll be at tomorrow has wifi.

My grandma is going into surgery, so I’m going to be there for like 12 hours at the hospital with my family.

Laptops and wifi to the rescue! Bliteotw!
